Biografie:
Thomas Maclagan Wedderburn (1915-1968)
T. M. Wedderburn, who died in January of this year, was elected to the Alpine Club in 1946. He was President of the C.U.M.C. from 1935-36, and had already been climbing both abroad as well as at home. His first Alpine visit was in 1934 to the Stubai-Tal; he visited Norway in both 1936 and 1939. His best season was in the Savoy Alps in 1938; the war naturally put a stop to serious climbing, but in 1940 he managed to get some climbs done in Tunisia, while in the Army.
